Ellie has been going to Hawks Prairie Orthodontics for over a year now. The results are impressive! The folks at Hawks Prairie are extremely positive and cheerful, always happy to see us. Ellie has the Damon System braces, which not all orthos do, so we were happy to find Dr. Ehrmantrout.

Orthodontist Zachary Ehrmantrout has one of the best-run businesses I’ve ever experienced. When choosing an orthodontist, I visited two – one a mile from my house and then Hawks Prairie Orthodonics, which was 20 miles away. It was no contest for me. I was immediately impressed by Doctor E and his top-notch staff.

I am a senior who had braces when I was a teenager (and was a terrible patient). Doctor E clearly explained the business arrangement on my first visit and estimated approximately how long it would take to straighten my teeth. Payments were automatically debited from my checking account, which made the process simple and affordable. When I finished paying for my braces at the end of 2015 and my teeth weren’t quite where they needed to be, my appointments continued at no additional cost – the goal of Dr. E and his staff is to get it right.

The office atmosphere is always upbeat, and the staff and doctor keep things fun with contests, games, trivia questions, and prizes that can be earned by patients who practice good orthodontic behavior. Doctor has an annual Patient Appreciation Day (the last two years treating his patients to a preview screening of the latest Hunger Games movie). And the best part is, Doctor and his staff encourage “children” of all ages to take part in the fun.

My braces come off next month and I’ll miss my regular visits. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Ehrmantrout and his staff to anyone considering braces.
